Reunion Engenharia has developed the complete design of this plant, including basic design, process engineering, metal structure design and piping design, as well as commissioning and support at the start of the industrial and thermoelectric plants.
This enterprise was divided into two phases. In them, Reunion was responsible for preliminary engineering studies, basic design and detailed design. The first phase involved the implementation of a sugarcane milling unit of 2,000,000 tons / year and sugar, hydrous ethanol and energy production capacity, respectively, of 25,000 bags / day, 600m³ / day and 25 MW for exportation. While the second phase included the expansion of this unit to a sugarcane crushing capacity of 3,000,000 t / yr and for sugar and energy production capacities, respectively, of 30,000 bags / day and 30MW for export, in addition to of the implantation of the process of production of anhydrous ethanol with capacity of 600m³ / day.
